Henry was a member of Seafaring Lodge 708, Newport Beach , California, a Thirty-second Degree Mason, Scottish Rite of Long Beach, California, and El Bekal Shrine Lodge of Long Beach. He was also, a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Henry was a dedicated military man and served in the Army, CBs and the United States Navy twice, retiring as Chief Petty Officer.

After retiring in Oklahoma, he was Mayor and Judge of his town. Henry was a General Contractor in California and loved mining for quicksilver. He was an avid sports fan and was always the first one to come to the aid of a fellow citizen.

He loved life and was always the life of the party. Everyone loved him dearly.
