Dear Pa,

All seven of your children and Ma loved you dearly. You were a fabulous provider and made sure we all had everything we ever dreamed of. We couldn't have had a better role model. You would be surprised to know that you have more than sixty grand, great and great-great grandchildren who are all very successful.

The huge family home your father built in Tyne Valley, Prince Edward Island, is now a beautiful bed and breakfast in which I recently stayed. The seven acres of land are still farmed by the new owners. What a legacy you have left.

We all miss you so much and think about you all of the time.
