He was beloved by his many friends and family and especially by his Tahitian friends. He was known as Papa Meteo and was an ex-Navy man who was injured on his ship, the DD 867, in the North Atlantic. He loved his country and the Navy. May he rest in peace with his fallen comrades and family.
