A Poem from Glenda

I found this poem shortly after my Son died.
I think it is so true especially for a grieving parent.

Our tears are still falling.
The heartaches will never heal.
You have left a vacant place,
no one can ever fill.
A million times we've needed you.
A million times we've cried
if love could have saved you.
you never would have died.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartaches make a lane,
We would walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
