Mother,
I need your advice
by Marci
You
say you want my advice.
Well, I've said it many times.
Paths...choices, we all must make.
No matter what, it is a chance to take.
Consider
the birds, my dear.
"Birds, mama, I don't want to hear about birds!"
But,
love, when you understand the lives of birds...
Then you will begin to understand your own.
To
take a dip in the pond or lake, or stay aflight.
An alligator, turtle or snake may lie in wait.
To
go this way or that. Which shall it take?
The eye of a hawk may have that path in sight.
It's
really not so profound. It is very simple, my dear.
Yes, when you begin to understand the lives of birds, you will understand
your own.
Mistakes
they make, and so do we. But that is all part of the circle.
To understand the life of one bird, may be the beginning of a kind
of peace.
The peace of just a tiny bit of knowledge.
It can be a kind of peril...we just don't know.
Consider
the birds, and you will then begin to understand yourself.
