Goodbye
Georgia...Hello Florida!

Well, before
I talk about myself I would like to wish a safe, happy, fun-filled
Happy Holidays to John and Kelly and to all of my friends on our
senior site. I just left the message center, and was it a blast.
Visited the cafes, and all and I am worn out...trying to visit them
all, and have a munchie here and there. But, it was great fun. I
also went into the Chat Room, but heck...nobody there. Maybe next
time.
On December
26, we are moving to Orlando where I will meet my wonderful, e-mail
pal, and now "adopted sister" Ruthe, and Benji, of course. Ruthe
has been a dear. She has even checked out the apartment complex
where we are moving. At first, she thought that it was a run down
place in a ghastly neighborhood, but, being a good detective, Ruthe
inquired at a 7-11, and discovered that our new "apartment home"
was 12 blocks away. Thank goodness!
I'm sure that
many of you can identify with our stumbling over and around a zillion
boxes. How in the world am I going to get all of these boxes into
an apartment, and then where is everything going? Help!!! We are
losing our office and a garage. Hopefully, it will be temporary...maybe
6 or 7 months and we will be back in a house with all of that space
to stuff our junk.
So, Happy,
Happy to you all. I will write a few lines about my wildlife sanctuary.
I do have mixed emotions about leaving my little feathered friends...and
the big ones too. Ye gads...visited Florida two weeks ago, and we
must have seen over 100 hawks flying around and over I-95 from Jacksonville
to Miami. They were beautiful, but what am I letting myself in for?
